Met a high school grad last night while volunteering who told me she's moving to Calgary this fall for university. Her field of study? Dance.

Now don't get me wrong on the value of arts in society, but as a theatre minor with regrets, my hunch is that her post-secondary experience isn't going to have as positive affect on the country as if she was going into a STEM field of study.
