Yup. He was or is nearly the perfect player at his position. He was just a driving scorer when he entered the league. -- (edited)

He developed a jumper when people questioned that part of his game. He quickly learned to be a lockdown defender and did everything at the highest level. He beat you on both ends of the court and had a will to win that has rarely been matched.
I don't know if we look at him differently if he doesn't win those six titles in the double three-peat but I'm pretty sure his numbers would still be all-world and we'd still see him as the GOAT.
