Lucky eggs and evolutions will bring 4X the XP. I'm glad they extended it since it just started on Saturday afternoon and was set to end at 8 tonight.

    - If you use a pineap on a pidgey you get 12 candy. So it can be evolved right away which will give you two more candy. -- (edited) - Krusty Jul 24, 21:23
