Are you sure it was me? I'm glad to help, but I don't sell much on CL, I mainly use FB yard sale sites.

When you post an item on CL, make sure you have pictures. No fees are charged.
When I would sell something on CL, I would make sure replies were anonymous. I wouldn't put my phone number or anything in the ad. I'd make the interested buyer email me (it's an anonymous CL-supplied link) and then I can reply to them via email.
A lot of people will reply and then will not respond, or will flake on a meetup time. If you do get an interested party who wants to meet up, I'd suggest meeting in a public location (Walmart parking lot, some police stations have internet transaction meetup parking spaces now, etc). I wouldn't let anyone come to the house.
Oh, and CL ads have the option to put your exact location on a map to the side. Make sure you turn that option off unless you want people showing up to your house.
