When I was a college freshman, my sister befriended a high school senior whose father was my sister's boss. That girl got dumped like two weeks before the prom specifically so that the guy didn't have to pay for prom stuff. She was devastated, and my sister volunteered me to take the girl. I came from college to find a complete stranger in my living room, and she asked me to prom. My sister rarely asked me for anything, so I couldn't possibly say no.
And the blind date was the most X-rated thing imaginable, although I wasn't a part of any of it. Everyone in that limo was bi but me and (and maybe the limo driver). And in the Silicon Valley vernancular, those folks fucked.
