The stuff that was destroyed was destroyed full stop, not dropped in the lake. In the lake are models that crashed

Since they were / are in the lake, they're Arrow project related items that weren't destroyed so hence the effort to recover them.

As crazy as the end of the Arrow project was....it might be plausible that they dropped the stuff in the lake ;-) -- nm
