fiscally conservative and socially moderate
I tend to like the ones that see public service as an honor and take it very seriously, not just a stepping stone on their struggle to climb the ladder and gain more power.
I also tend to like the ones (on both sides of the aisle) who are brave enough to go against the will of their Party if it's in the best interest of their district or state.
