Trump tells people in places where economy isn't working to move someplace else for jobs. Not a bad idea, but not as simple as he implies

“I'm going to start explaining to people, when you have an area that just isn't working like upper New York state, where people are getting very badly hurt, and then you'll have another area 500 miles away where you can't get people, I'm going to explain, you can leave,” the president told The Wall Street Journal. “It's OK. Don't worry about your house.”
Don't worry about your house? Like walk away from your home? Default on your mortgage? And what if you cant afford to move?
One of the things people need is better mobility to go to where jobs are, but I just don't get his approach here
