JD: AmEx Question for tickets

My friend whom I e-mailed while he is opn vacation in Puerto Rico called me hysterically and gave me his AmEx info to buy us tickets to the show. Is it any type of AmEx or a certain one to buy tickets? He has a Starwood AmEx?

If it's an okay card, I'll be in NYC that weekend!
