But I have some photos that simply aren't acceptable and the conditions couldn't be helped. For example I took a bunch of pics at the karate tournament -- gynasium lighting, high-speed subject matter = high iso and very noisy photos.

yeah, I fought that quite a bit with my subway photos. the noise is one of the biggest drawbacks of some pretty cool photos. -- nm
