From a logical perspective, having three dragons vs. the Whitewalkers would make the fight over quickly since the Whitewalkers have nothing we know of that deals with flying enemies. The dragons could just swoop down, breathe fire, then fly back up again. Even against zombie giants...

So, they'll have to get rid of the dragons completely, or wound them greatly before the Whitewalker fight happens.
