Game of Thrones thought for the future (spoilers for past but not future episodes)

I know absolutely nothing about what will happen -- and isn't it sad that we have to use that caveat now in these discussions -- but...

I was just looking at cast photos of the various season premieres. The "You know nothing" couple was one of the first images I saw, and it got me to thinking.

Which Game of Thrones characters have died in such a way that the Night King couldn't bring them back? Is that one of the horrific images we'll see in season eight? Will people like Ygritte and Stannis make return appearances in undead camoes?

The producers are basically cackling over turning name characters against each other last night. Isn't Zombie Heroes the natural progression?
