Yep - radio silence might be best. People sometimes become self sufficient when those they abuse stop responding.

you've done enough. Unless you work for maniacs you can easily demonstrate a high degree of effort and customer service to this nutbag.

This thread dovetails with the one below about customer service. I sometimes get tickets which, once I review, I let sit for an hour so the user can figure it out. I'll call later and they'll say, "I figured it out". Some of this is self serving for me obviously but I do do this to teach as well.
