I thought about it a while and I have a cold blooded answer.

The mountain ain't going anywhere, she is.
My dad would have told me to go But I cherish every day I spent with him in hospice care. He went faster than expected and I was glad I was there.
I would stay with no regrets. You can reschedule and the time spent training is not wasted time.
