It is pretty interesting in the age of Trump to see where the not racist/racist line is drawn for a lot of his supporters.

Most, I would guess, would associate with non-whites in social settings, in work settings, and enjoy entertainment featuring or created by POC, and love sports featuring POC.
But the one thing ALL those things have in common is that those POC are "safe". They aren't in charge and they are providing a service.
A black coworker is fine, he does his job, no worries. A black boss, though? POC's in position of authority aren't acceptable.
Should a POC be a political representative? Sure, if his or her district is mostly non-white. Should "my" representative be a POC? Nope. And especially not president.
POC's can play sports, but coach one? Eh, man, he or she would have to really earn it.
It isn't a racism of "all POC's suck" but one of "POC's in positions of authority over me suck."
These folks would happily have a beer with a POC, but never take direction from one as a boss or a politician.
