One of my favorite podcasters/YouTubers, CGP Grey, doesn't keep any souvenirs. He'll take a picture and then discard it.

His fellow podcaster Brady Haran once proposed a hypothetical to him: What if he was sitting for lunch with Elon Musk and Elon happened to doodle something on a napkin, and then at the end of lunch Elon gives him the napkin..? Grey says he'd take a picture of the napkin and then discard it.
