1) i try, but i often decide to pick a few things up after work or whatever. I have a new really compact hot pink shopping bag i can keep in my purse - we'll see if i can remember.
2) yep, pretty much all of them now. 5 cents (it might be a law now, is it a law? i should check.)

We take our own bags. On another point, it amazes me just how much we put in the recycling bin for weekly collection. All the milk cartons, the boxes

I have one of those trolleys used by old ladies. I don't keep a reuseable bag though - too annoying -- nm

I've been meaning to get reusable ones, or reuse any of the hundred plastic bags I have at home. But it's hard.

What I should get is my own basket like they have. That would be key. I should make designer shopping baskets and sell them on line. -- nm

A few places charge here, but I don't go there often. I hardly ever remember to bring my own bags. -- nm

I try to reuse my plastic bags. The grocery store I usually go to gives a 6 cent credit for each one you bring in -- nm

Wife usually remembers to bring them, they don't charge (in fact a few offer 5 cents off per bag that you bring). -- nm
