Thank you all for the birthday wishes!

At 45, it's nice to have so many friends, coast to coast and around the world. It's basically 15 hours straight of birthday greetings and it's very heartening. Can't say I did anything exceptional today, but I can say I spent it with family (at home) and friends (online).

The dreary weather over the last couple of days cleared up this afternoon as it got hotter and hotter and sunnier and sunnier. The rain cleared away the smoke and pollen (although I'm already sneezy and sniffly again) so we're going to have a gorgeous week and come next Monday I look forward to a career highlight.

I heard somewhere that, statistically, the longer you live, the longer you're GONNA live. So at this rate, I figure I'm gonna live forever. Good thing I'm spending forever with good company.
