You get the sense from side-character comments that nobody finds that acceptable *but* the Targaryeans (edit: realizing Cersei isn't one. I keep thinking she's part of their bloodline). And Dany's already demonstrated she wants to break with her family's past. It would be historically consistent for them to marry, but I can totally see the writers avoiding linking the heroes with a current incestuous relationship.
