All this is Paul's doing. And he's been playing intelligent the whole time. With Cody out, he can line everyone up and take them out one at a time. Only Summer has been able to see through him (like Cody has) so I assume she's next. Paul is an evil mastermind and potentially the greatest BB player ever. He entered with copious amounts of experience under his belt and used it to run roughshod over the house.

The way he turned the house (and specifically, Josh) against Jessica when Josh wanted to evict Elena was masterful.
