XM Radio had a phenomenal Werewolves of London anecdote today.

Zevon was talking about how he loved a melody one of his musicians was playing. They decided to write a song called Werewolves of London but had no idea what it would be about. So, the guitarist walks in and asks what they're doing.

"We're writing about those werewolves of London."
"The ones who go arroooooo?"

Dude walks in, makes that sound, and Zevon has the greatest song of his career. He claimed it took 10 minutes to write after hearing "arrooooo".

(although I'm partial to Lawyers, Guns and Money)
