with the first Omega/Okada, they never let him hit it. So, that protected the move. He could spend six months saying, "If I'd hit it..."
The booking there is so outrageously smart.
The thing you might not realize about Omega is that he was a Junior in NJPW for a long time. When the WWE poached them, he sold them on the idea that he could lead the Bullet Club. It seemed crazy at the time because he was the Enzo.
You should watch his 2016 G1. The performances he gave are inimitable.
