so the FCC is trying to determine if consumers dont need landline internet because possibly wireless (ie cell phones) are a valid substitute. this is

actually open for comment right now if you wanted to.

also the FCC defines high-speed internet for homes as 25Mbps downstream and 3Mbps upstead, but for wireless it is only 10mbps down and 1mbps up.
