The thing is - there will be attention and coverage of a fascist rally. It will happen.

My instinct is to think that they need to see a crowd that outnumbers them by some outrageous ratio. Nothing would make them feel smaller (and that's what they're ultimately feeling like..."small") than to see 10s of thousands of like minded, decent, moral people in opposition to the few needle dicks who show up.
