overall texture is ok, kinda marshmallow-y on the side of a lighter version of (candy) mochi, as found in many froyo places. flavors are *very* subtle, as is tang. they're mostly just sweet.
I bought a bag of them because I saw sour patch kids and suddenly craved the experience or something (no idea, not a regular thing for me*), but they're loaded with fake dyes including the red I can't have; and these looked promising - the brand plus no artificial flavors or colors. I've tried samples of more natural brands that had good flavor, so it can be done - just not with these.
*seriously, it had been many years since I bought anything like them, outside of my "love with food" subscription sometimes containing a little bag of similar; but, earlier this year, I saw the sour variety of Black Forest Organics at a walgreens and bought them - much better! http://www.blackforestusa.com/
