And we're just starting to map it all. Every agency has their own map of their tunnels/pipes/wires/etc. but they don't share them with each other.

Right now we're working to combine all the maps and make new ones so we know exactly what's underground and where so in the future it'll be much easier to do work. They're hoping to have added technology that will allow them to know where exactly a small leak or broken wire is so they can be more exact in where to dig and also when building new projects they'll be able to know which areas to avoid.
