The fact that I-84 is closed is terrifying to me. Oregon doesn't make many major highways. For one of them to be closed is a HUGE deal.

From where we stand, we basically have two routes out... north to Portland (and Washington) or south to California. East and West to the mountains or coast are via winding rural highways that wouldn't handle traffic well and don't take you to any place that can handle mass evacuations anyway.

I'm pretty good at prepping for road trips so I'm not concerned about what to pack. It's simply a matter of how we get there.
