These are cloud storage though, not exactly backup (no versionning, and if you delete something on your HD, it disappears there too)

I'm in the same boat, I'll take their offer for the first year, then I have to find something in 1.5 year. I would really like to do peer-to-peer backup with a friend, that way I don't have to upload 600GB through the internet all over again

Sort of. They have a sync/backup program that runs on the PC which I'd use to grab the data I need. They also have versioning -- nm* - oblique, SuperFeud Champion and Twelfth Astronaut Sep 5, 12:44
