The teacher and admin/staff are dealing with this a lot better than I am.

They are happy to have a parent involved who is willing to work with them to get results (instead of "oh, my snowflake wouldn't act like THAT - must be your fault")

We have a school team meeting next week and an autism spectrum eval next month.

The vice-principal of the older kids' wing (who is also familiar with him) sat with me today and told me (as did the resource teacher) that he is clearly gifted so that may have something to do with this. But we can't put anything in place there until the school meeting next week, where I can OK them doing an IQ test.

In the meantime, I just have to keep trying ways to keep him calm. He has no self-control function. It's 0 or 100 all.the.time.
