My home office, where I play Destiny, has one of the smallest Vizio's the make. It sets off to the side of my computer monitor as it is about the same size.
As you know, Remlik got a roommate. The good news? They had too many tvs. So, this weekend I picked up his 44 inch Vizio! (And you guys wonder why I love the guy).
I rearrange the entire office to make it work. Everything is great. I go to hook my x-box headset... and there is no headphone jack in the new tv. No, this is a big deal as about 95% of the time I watch tv, I do it with the headphones as my office shares a wall with Logan's room.
I research and sure enough, the only way to do remote sound will require stero/amp. The funny thing is, Remlik offered me an old one when I got the tv. So the next day, I pick it up. Of course, the headphone jack is for the big plug type so I had to wait until the next day to get one of those stupid converter plugs that I used to own several of that I no longer have. Got that Tuesday.
Go to hook everything up and find out that the only outgoing plug from the Vizio is a Spdif... which is way too modern for the amp. So I ordered a cord and a convertor box from Prime which should arrive today.
::fingers crossed this is the last step::
