Out of curiosity, did you do all the adventures as you went through the story?

I think they have a problem with them. You don't need to do most of them, if any, to progress through the story. Once you finish the story the rewards aren't helpful, other than the upgrade points. They apparently have nice lore, but most people will never know. You can also replay them if you would like after you've beaten all of them on a planet.
