I had to show a house today. The current tenant is a USAF sergeant who is deploying overseas. One prospective tenant wore a USMC hoody

The two prospective tenants I showed the house to were a woman and her eldest daughter. The daughter is engaged to a Marine.

Before we went in, I explained that the current tenant was deploying and so the house was a bit messy as he was packing everything up.

So the mother said "You're deploying?" The USAF sergeant said "Yes, I am". The mother pointed to her eldest daughter and said "She'll have to be dealing with that too. She is engaged to a Marine"

My current tenant then said "Oh, give him a pack of crayons and he'll be fine."

I had to leave the room so my prospective tenants didn't see me laugh.
