Ixalan is the latest set. Just out this weekend? Maybe last weekend. It’s pirates, vampires, menfolk, dinosaurs. It feels more basic than usual. Maybe -- (edited)

You could wait until July 20th next year when they do the next core set. (And the 25th anniversary!)
