back in the halo days, I couldn't easily explain why I was able to do what I did sometimes. a lot of it is just getting an understanding of the map layout (if you havent notice they are pretty similar in setup, not always in size though. and then learning how people play (always attack B, sneak around to attack A, try to sneak around and attack them going for B, etc.).
