Yeah for the candy I figured the white would be fine. I bought fine and coarse but haven't used them yet.

I was referring more for other dishes. I see pink used for seafood at lot, is that pretty standard? What about steaks?

Just trying to up my knowledge base a little and Google isn't really helping too much.
