The agent was technically right that AA's policy doesn't recognize curling equipment as sports equipment exempt from the extra bag fee

but the agent, if this account is right, went about every presentation of information incorrectly.
If you care, AA is apparently VERY specific about what counts as sporting equipment. (It includes antlers)
