Yup. Especially tight in Portland. The backyard house that I'm having built may need to be torn down to the foundation and restarted in April.

The framing is partially completed, and has been partially completed since mid-July. If they can't get the roof on and the walls fully installed in a week or two, the rainy season will really set in and stop construction.
And then they'll have to tear down all the framing that has been done.
And if it happens, that will add about $25,000 to the construction cost, plus another $10,000 to $15,000 grand in useless mortgage payments for 6 or 8 months.
