When I joined the company, we had pensions. I vested. But then they ended the pension program, froze existing pensions for anyone who had joined in the past X years (my father was WAY grandfathered on that and kept his normal pension) and moves us to an enhanced 401K.
So I technically have a pension account that will be mine someday. It grows at the current interest rate and nothing more. It's worth around 33K.
