The article I scrapped read like an editorial written by a 10-year-old.

A number of the sentences didn’t seem to make sense or go anywhere and, as an editor, it was (physically) difficult to read. There were “facts” mentioned throughout without any cited sources, expired links, or - probably the worst - links to articles that said no such thing. For instance, and this one’s a doozy...

The previous version of the article said that DEN had patented a method of delivering advertising with streaming video. If that were true, DEN should exist today as the richest dot-com company in history. In truth, what they tried to innovate was a type of advertising where you could click on something you saw *in* the video and it would take you to a place where you could buy the product. It’s actually a rather clever bit of linking product placement to real sales. You get money coming and going. But it’s very different than what was written.
