I don't give a shit about how my character or ship looks. I rarely see my character so why would I care what it looks like.

This game is not what I expected when I bought it. I don't want a game of collecting things. I want to build a character that gets stronger and better the longer I use him/her. In this we hit the max very quickly and even as you go up in light level it doesn't seem to give you anything more powerful or make your character any better.

I'm unhappy with the game. I think I'm going to buy Cuphead later and play that for a while.
