After burning my hand with boiling water, I then forgot the burner that had the pan of stir-fry was still on. I came upstairs to check mail, etc. and when I came downstairs 5 minutes later, it was also burned.
Will grabbed a dish before it burned so at least one of us got a good dinner. I just reheated last night's unsuccessful attempt at baked stuffed shrimp and am forcing those down.
*sigh*
