in nevada, they can bar you for counting.
in Jersey, they can't but don't have to continue normal games (re-deal after every hand = no count)

If I don't touch the card, if I don't ask them to use my deck...there is no material way I'm fixing the game -- I'm just being smarter than them.

They did shitty Quality Control on their product and then held it against him for being smarter than them.

They failed in every manner here -- all because they expected the house edge to take his money. They broke their own rules to get his larger stack of money and attributed it to his quirks/superstition.

It's what happens to/for whales every day. Just this whale was smarter than them.
