its ramping up to be a crime solving show - it didn't necessarily start out that way but its slow building and it makes it better.

I hate the girlfriend. Love the sexy doctor lady

I appreciate how they didn't give us another young/old cop dynamic that was all " this young whippersnapper, I will be mean to him 75% of the show until we bond and become best friends"
its mutual respect and helping each other from step one - they still don't quite get each other but it seems organic. brilliant even.

the criminals ARE INSANELY CREEPY
