Well, that was awkward. I just had my first IEP meeting for N, which included both his original K teacher and the teacher he is currently with.

His original teacher is about to find out that he's being moved out of her class, and the current teacher is about to find out he's being moved into her class permanently.

I have a lot of emotions regarding this right now. I know the move is the right move, but I feel a lot of sadness and guilt re: his original teacher, who has been wonderful to me/us. Classroom switching hardly ever happens and I don't want her to think it's because of her.
