I used to post them regularly some years ago, "happy xxxx day!" it turned out someone *really* didn't like it and expressed that to me, so I stopped.

maybe it's the use of exclamation points - subsequently someone else didn't like my "kitten break!" posts (in a different way than mick.'s faux displeasure) and use of "boo.!" for our boo-dee-chay.

I don't want anyone to dislike coming to the boards because of me doing something like those, so away went those subject line expressions. not over-caring, more not creating the equivalent of an unpleasant posting environment.
