there are multiple people making similar claims against one person or another, all with details/with back-up from friends/family/coworkers. also from people who don't have anything to gain from sharing their stories - like they currently have ongoing success, etc.
one person making one claim against another is a tougher call, unless there are formal records or other evidence; but one person isn't as likely to take another down either.
