Yup, it can be a long process, but it definitely sounds like you have a good working relationship with the teacher(s)/principal at N's school.

We're still doing IEPs with Connor, but this year, so far, *knock on wood* and all that he really seems to have turned a corner with his behavior; we thankfully haven't had to put him on medication for his ADHD but he hasn't had any major outbursts this year at school. Now, at home... heh
