Jimmy’s Mom passed away last week and he canceled a weeks worth of shows. Yesterday was the first back. They asked Taylor to play and she said yes.

After the monologue, at his desk, Jimmy talked about his mom and how when he was a kid she would squeeze his hand three times for ‘I love you’ and he would squeeze it back. Last week at the hospital he was squeezing his moms hand and she didn’t squeeze back and he knew it was trouble.

Then Taylor was the first guest and played a new song. She changed one of the lyrics to ‘squeezing my hand in the back of the cab’ or something similar.

Classy move all around.
