merits it raises the question of whether there can ever be a consensual relationship between a boss and a subordinate. Because to my knowledge she has never stated that she felt harassed or abused. She's always said it was consensual. This gets to a grey area where the conditions for harassment seem evident, but the people involved don't view it that way. It's why this issue can be so complex. It's very subjective. Obviously the safest approach is to never enter into the grey area. But it doesn't mean the grey area doesn't exist.
