From all accounts they seem to have a benefit

besides if people spend that much money on shoes to collect or for fashion (Ok, ok, one could conceivably get multiple pairs of shoes for the price of the Vaporfly 4%....)...at least I'd actually be using them.

Well..occasionally. They really do seem to be race shoes as some of the reviews bring up wear/durability issues
